Anxiety relief: CBD has been shown to reduce anxiety in both human and animal studies. A 2011 study found that CBD can help people with social anxiety give a speech. And a 2015 review of studies concluded that CBD oil is an effective treatment for various forms of anxiety, including PTSD, GAD, and social anxiety disorder.
Pain management: CBD may help reduce chronic pain by impacting endocannabinoid receptor activity, according to a 2016 study in the European Journal of Pain.
