Cannabinoid receptor 1 is also referred to as cannabinoid receptor 1. In humans, it is a G-protein that is embedded and identified as a CNR1 gene. Cannabinoid receptors are found throughout our bodies, mainly in our brains, organs, and our nervous system that comprises our endocannabinoid system. The CB 1 receptors help in regulating our central nervous system.
